I try to do something new, try something different with every painting that I do, this time I decided to do a brick wall of graffiti art for the background. Rock n Roll!! I used my airbush pen on my wacom intuos tablet to do the graffiti writing, I really put the functions of an airbush to good use this time to paint something cool, just look at the beautiful colours I got on the writing of Rock n Roll!
Her top or her jacket you can see has textures in it because I applied a pattern of clothing material to that part. I went all out with the little details for this character painting!
This illustration was sketched out traditionally using 2H and H pencils, outlined using black ink graphics fine liners. From then on, all colouring work was completed digitally using Photoshop CS3. I work best in the traditional way drawing my character with pencil by hand I think.
I’ll show you the original finished inked outline sketch.
If you like my work and your studio is hiring an artist/illustrator, or your project is looking for a certain style, (my style) then please get in touch with me via my contact page and we’ll discuss work opportunities.
Until next post, Peace and Love everyone!
